The T611 ASII Compression Packer
is a double grip retrievable packer used for production, stimulation and testing.
The mechanical upper hold down system reduces the cost and maintenance of a button type
hydraulic hold down system. The ASII Packer is equipped with a running bypass that reduces
swabbing. Set down weight closes the bypass valve, sets the upper and lower slips and
energizes the packing elements. The closed bypass valve activates the pressure balanced
hold down system. Pressure from below aid in holding the bypass valve closed and
preventing upward movement of the tubing string.
